Bob Monkhouse

I've thought for a long, long time that, despite coming from the 'old-school' by-gone days of stand-up, that Bob Monkhouse was brilliant. I'm not talking about the numerous game shows he did, which I would not go anywhere near to even liking a tiny little bit, but his stand up. He was from a time where jokes were stolen by nearly every comic. He wrote his own. And they were brilliant as well.
